Methodological work

The department has a set of teaching and methodological documentation for all basic disciplines and special courses. All documentation is in printed form, and full-time and part-time undergraduate and graduate students are fully provided with it.

Teachers are actively working on the preparation of teaching aids for the disciplines of the department.

Teachers of the department are actively involved in the development and implementation of new forms, methods, and means of teaching (discussions, game situations, round tables, etc.) in the educational process.

When organizing the educational process, the department's teachers use not only traditional teaching methods and forms, but also pay attention to the introduction of business games (for example, on metrology, qualimetry), and widely use excursion classes at city enterprises for special courses.

The department widely implements progressive forms of student knowledge assessment: interim certification, residual knowledge testing, and a point-based rating system.
