Events dedicated to Science Day 2025 were held at the Department of Smart Grid Engineering at the Institute of Power Engineering, where:

- Associate Professor Arfan Al Hakam delivered a lecture on "Smart Energy." The event aimed to popularize scientific knowledge and modern research in the field of Smart Grid and to increase student interest in information technology. Following the lecture, faculty and students from the department participated in a discussion. Current questions regarding the use of intelligent elements in the electrical system were raised. The students expressed active interest in the topic and noted the importance of developing smart energy for the country's sustainable development.

PhD student Niraj Kumar (India) presented an online presentation on "Developing a Methodology for TinyML/QKD/mm-spectrum Architectures with Network Security and Algorithms for Self-Calibration, Fault Detection, and Diagnostics of Motor Shaft Control Devices and Other Assemblies in Compliance with the GOST Standard." This research contributes to the development of reliable, efficient, and secure control devices for IIoT and Industry 4.0 applications. The proposed TinyML architectures and algorithms with network security will improve device performance, reduce maintenance costs, and increase overall system reliability.

On November 18, 2020, faculty from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering participated in an online discussion hosted by the International Scientific and Methodological Center of National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, titled "Educational Technologies of the Future: What Awaits Engineering and Computational Sciences in the Next 10 Years?" Certificates were awarded.
