Excursion to the National Historical Museum of the Kyrgyz Republic on Victory Day

On May 9, 2023, on Victory and Remembrance Day, students of the SSM(b)-1-22 group of the Department of Metrology and Standardization, together with their curator, visited the National Historical Museum of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bishkek.

The excursion was dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the Great Victory. The students walked through the halls of the museum, where exhibits about the Great Patriotic War are displayed: weapons, documents, photographs of front-line soldiers, letters from the front, personal belongings of heroes, and materials about the contribution of the Kyrgyz people to the victory over fascism. Special attention was paid to the section on Kyrgyzstanis who were Heroes of the Soviet Union and participants in the battles near Moscow, Stalingrad, Kursk, and on other fronts.
