Open lesson for Science Day

On November 4, 2024, as part of university events dedicated to Science Day 2024 on the theme "Scientific Transformation of the Modern World: Innovation as the Main Factor in Scientific and Technological Progress,“ the Department of Metrology and Standardization held an open lesson entitled ”Scientific Achievements in the Field of Metrology and Standardization."

The event took place at 3:00 p.m. in Auditorium 3/215. The lesson was conducted by senior lecturer Tatyana Leonidovna Shalabay.

First- and second-year students took an active part. The following students distinguished themselves:

Aelina Oyoozbekova (group SM(b)-1-24) — gave a vivid presentation on the topic “The Physical Quantity of Time”

Aelita Smanova, Eliza Arabaeva, and Aziza Toktogulova (group SM(b)-1-23) — prepared and presented reports on “Standardization in the People's Republic of China,” “The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC),”  and “The International Telecommunication Union (ITU)”

The students demonstrated a high level of preparation, the ability to work with scientific sources, and confidently present material. The open lesson took place in a lively, interested atmosphere and became a real celebration of science at our department!
