Methodical work

The department has a complex of educational and methodological documentation for all basic disciplines and special courses. All documentation is in printed form, and full-time and part-time students and undergraduates are fully provided with it.

Teachers are actively working on the preparation of textbooks for the disciplines of the department.

The teachers of the department are actively involved in the development and implementation of new forms, methods and means of teaching (discussions, game situations, "round tables", etc.) into the educational process.

When organizing the educational process, the teachers of the department use not only traditional methods and forms of education, but also pay attention to the introduction of business games (for example, in metrology, qualimetry), excursion classes in city enterprises in special courses are widely used.

At the department, progressive forms of control of students' knowledge are widely introduced: intermediate certification, verification of residual knowledge (testing), point-rating assessment system.
