Research work

The main research areas developed at the A. Zhaynakov Department of Information Systems and Technologies are:

Modern information technologies in education;
Research and application of artificial intelligence for solving applied problems;
Information and telecommunication technologies;
Digital processing of Earth remote sensing data.

The department faculty conduct research in these areas and prepare for the defense of doctoral and candidate dissertations. Staff members actively participate in the international conference "Mathematical and Information Technologies," scientific seminars in near and far abroad, as well as scientific events held in the Kyrgyz Republic. In addition, the department participates in scientific projects funded by grants from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Students are involved in Student Research Work (SRW) and regularly present reports at student scientific and technical conferences. The results of research activities are published as monographs and articles in scientific journals of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Russian Federation, and are also presented in reports at national and international scientific and practical conferences.
