Events
On 26 February 2026, a diverse cultural studies event took place at the Kyrgyz-German Center of the Kyrgyz State Technical University. With the support of their lecturers and the DAAD lector, students gave engaging presentations on various topics related to Germany. The program included presentations on famous German travel destinations, entertaining quizzes about Germany, and insights into German culinary specialties.
Cultural and regional studies play an important role in developing students’ speaking skills in German. By preparing and presenting their contributions, students were able to actively practice the language while deepening their knowledge about Germany. This is particularly important in view of upcoming study stays at partner universities in Germany, for which many students begin preparing during their studies.
The organizers would also like to express their special thanks to the Korean Center of the university for allowing the event to take place in its hall.
