Research work
The scientific interests of the department lie in the use of hydraulic, wind, solar energy, as well as other types of renewable energy sources.
The scientists of the department, together with masters and graduate students, are actively conducting research work. The department prepares teaching and research personnel of the highest qualification - candidates of technical sciences.
Candidates of science are trained in the specialty:
05.14.08 - Power plants based on renewable energy.
In recent years, Ph.D. theses were defended by: Tagaimatova A.A., Isaev R.E., Zhabudaev T.Zh., Akparalyev R.A., Mederov T.T. Continuing his studies in Germany defended his doctoral work Botpaev R.M.
Currently, 8 graduate students are studying at the department under the supervision of a doctor of technical sciences, prof. Obozova A.J. and candidate of technical sciences, prof. Satarkulova K.A.
