Second-year students of the Department of Management at the Higher School of Economics and Business of I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University visited the company Dan Agro Products LLC.
On December 4, 2025, second-year students of the Management Department at the Higher School of Economics and Business of I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University visited the company Dan Agro Products LLC as part of their dual training program.
The head of the Talas regional branch conducted a practical session for the students, explaining production processes, the financial aspects of the business, and career opportunities in the field of management. The students were particularly interested in learning about the qualities needed for a successful career in business.
After the lecture, the group explored the company’s production facilities and learned how raw materials are transformed into finished products such as lentils, beans, and others. Positive emotions and lively discussions continued on the way back home.
The trip concluded with a delicious lunch made from the company’s products — lentil soup and a bean side dish with meat.
The visit was a success! The students will prepare a report sharing their impressions of the trip.
Dual Education — A Path to Success!
On April 21, 2025, first-year students of the Higher School of Economics and Business, KSTU named after I. Razzakov, majoring in “Business Administration” at the Department of Management, attended a class as part of the course “Fundamentals of Business.” Theoretical and practical lessons were conducted by PhD in Economics, Acting Associate Professor Niyazaliev U.S., General Director of “Dan Agro Products” LLC.
After the lectures, students visited the company’s processing plant to see how the business operates in practice. This form of learning allows combining theory and practice, helps students gain a deeper understanding of their future profession, and better prepares them for professional work.
Students noted that dual education makes the learning process interesting and motivating. It is hoped that this experience will form a solid foundation for their professional growth.
Management Department Student Wins at the Kyrgyz Republic Universiade Athletics High League
On April 18–19, at the Sh. Sydykov Stadium, the High League of the Kyrgyz Republic Universiade in athletics was held.
The national team of KSTU named after I. Razzakov took 2nd place among 10 universities in the country, demonstrating excellent preparation and strong team spirit.
Special pride was brought by Barsbek Junushbaev, a student of the Higher School of Economics and Business, Department of Management, group Men-1-22, who won prize places in all his disciplines:
– 100 m — 3rd place
– 200 m — 2nd place
– 4×100 m relay — 2nd place
Management Department Students Awarded Scholarships at KSTU
On April 3, 2025, at the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov, a ceremonial awarding of scholarships was held for students of the Higher School of Economics and Business, Department of Management. Fifteen second- and third-year students from the “Management” and “Business Administration” programs were recognized for their achievements in academics, sports, and university social life. They received cash prizes and gifts from partners, including branded backpacks, T-shirts, and caps.
The awardees included students who distinguished themselves not only academically but also in organizing events, participating in conferences, competitions, and Olympiads. It should be noted that the Department of Management traditionally places great emphasis on supporting talented youth and creating opportunities for each student to realize their potential.
The students of the Department of Management were awarded scholarships for excellent academic performance and active participation in university life.
KSTU Students Won a Prize at an International Olympiad
On March 7, 2025, the III International Distance Student Olympiad titled “Sustainable Development: New Challenges for Managers”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Kyrgyz National University named after Zh. Balasagyn, was held at Kyrgyz National University. Students from leading universities of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan took part in the event.
The team of the Department of Management of KSTU named after I. Razzakov demonstrated strong performance and won an honorable third place. The team included second-year students: Atalykova Altynai and Zhakypbekova Aiday (group Men(b) angl. 1-23), as well as Kadyrbek uulu Islam and Toktobekova Adinai (group Men(b) 1-23).
The participants were supervised by the Head of the Department of Management of the Higher School of Economics and Business, Professor Imankulova E.T., and senior lecturers Kudabaeva N.K. and Begalieva K.B. Thanks to their guidance and the students’ efforts, the team successfully completed all competition tasks.
The winners were determined by the jury based on the results of the assessment week. Despite the high level of competition, KSTU students demonstrated solid knowledge and professional skills. In recognition of their achievements, the participants and their academic supervisors were awarded diplomas and medals.
The Olympiad leader, Doctor of Economics, Professor Akylbekova N.I., expressed gratitude to all participants and wished them further success in their studies and research activities.
Excursion to the Production and Processing Enterprise “Dan Agro Products” LLC
On October 10, 2024, in accordance with the Cooperation Agreement signed in 2023 between our university and the production and processing enterprise “Dan Agro Products” LLC, the Department of Management of the Higher School of Economics and Business organized an off-site excursion for 2nd-year students (42 students) majoring in “Management” and “Business Administration”.
The purpose of the visit was to familiarize students with real production conditions, production processes, and to gain a practical understanding of the full cycle—from raw materials to finished processed products, as well as the logistics of delivering products to consumers.
During the visit, students attended a lecture on the company’s activities and its future development strategy, accompanied by a video presentation. A range of products was presented, and special attention was given to environmentally friendly legume products intended for export to various countries.
Students then toured the plant and observed the entire process of processing raw materials into finished products and preparing them for export. The two-hour excursion left a strong impression on the students, evoking admiration and genuine interest.
The visit concluded with lunch at the company cafeteria, where students were treated to dishes made from the company’s own products, including lentil soup and buckwheat and bulgur side dishes with cutlets. Upon departure, the students expressed sincere gratitude to the management and organizers for the opportunity to visit the enterprise.
