Department Projects
Cooperation with DAAD
DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) is a German organization that provides scholarships to foreign students, master’s and doctoral candidates, as well as professionals for study at public higher education institutions in Germany. The organization connects nations through science and education and is currently regarded as a leader in the field of international academic exchange of students and scholars.
DAAD brings together 240 German universities and 131 student organizations, acts as an intermediary in Germany’s foreign cultural policy, and makes a significant contribution to the development of the country’s science and education policy.
The Department of Management has been cooperating with this organization since 1992. Professor I.A. Atantaev of the department (who, during the GDR period, won a competitive selection and completed a one-year research internship) undertook a research fellowship in Braunschweig with the support of DAAD. During this time, a long-term cooperation agreement was concluded with the Institute of Economics of Construction Organizations (IECO).
Within the framework of this agreement, the parties agreed on:
- joint solutions to problems in the fields of education and science;
- improvement of specialist training;
- organization of joint conferences and seminars;
- publication of academic articles and teaching and methodological materials;
- joint organization of student internships.
As a result, ten academic articles by the department were published in Germany in the German language. Joint seminars and conferences of the department and IECO were held. Faculty members and students of IECO visited the Kyrgyz Republic and became acquainted with the scientific and educational system of FPI.
At present, the department conducts seminars on the activities of DAAD. Every year, DAAD scholarship holders and active members of the department participate in international scientific conferences organized by DAAD. The department considers further cooperation with DAAD to be a priority area.
