On October 11, 2023, a trilateral Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Public Foundation for Innovative Education “Lingva,” the official testing center “Learning World,” and Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov.

The purpose of the Memorandum with the Public Foundation “Lingva” is to improve the system of professional development, training, and retraining of English language teachers through the introduction of innovative teaching technologies and methods, professional exchange, development of mentoring systems, publication of methodological manuals and other resources, as well as the implementation of joint educational programs and events.

To achieve these goals, the parties intend to cooperate in the following areas and forms:

1. Promoting the exchange of experience through training programs in various formats (online, offline, hybrid courses), round tables, webinars, forums, conferences, internships, research activities, evaluation work, and other events;
2. Improving the qualifications of teaching staff through theoretical and practical training programs;
3. Conducting training programs for English language methodologist-trainers;
4. Publishing articles, electronic journals, methodological guidelines, information on innovative educational resources, and enrollment for professional development courses on the parties’ websites;
5. Cooperation in developing curricula and academic programs, methodological support of the educational process, exchange of teachers, mutual assistance, and use of material and technical resources, including classrooms and library funds;
6. Providing consultations and participating in joint research activities;
7. Developing certification documentation and certifying trainer-mentors;
8. Jointly organizing professional development courses and certifying participants;
9. Assisting in organizing and conducting level-based English language courses for interested students and staff on a commercial basis.

The purpose of the Memorandum with “Learning World” LLC is to develop перспективные направления cooperation between the university and the organization in the field of professional development of English language teachers and preparation of students for official international exams such as TOEIC and/or PTE Academic, confirming their language proficiency for participation in international exchange programs, academic mobility, and other purposes.

To achieve these goals, the parties intend to cooperate in the following areas:

1. Conducting a series of informational campaigns at the university for English teachers and students of all disciplines to familiarize them with official international English exams and preparation programs;
2. Organizing meetings with official representatives of ETS Global and Pearson VUE by prior agreement between the parties;
3. Providing targeted training for English language teachers free of charge;
4. Preparing interested teachers and students for TOEIC and PTE Academic exams on a paid basis at the university or the organization;
5. Administering TOEIC and/or PTE Academic exams.

On April 30, a TOEIC Listening Trial Test and Info Session was held at the Kyrgyz-Korean Center for Information Access under the guidance of the “Learning World” testing center. The event was attended by heads of structural divisions of KSTU named after I. Razzakov, as well as interested teachers and students.

Thus, through collaboration with the Public Foundation for Innovative Education “Lingva,” we have the opportunity to improve English language proficiency, reach an international level in research activities, and attract international partners for the development and promotion of our projects.

On January 31, 2025, a bilateral Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Norwich Institute for Language Education (NILE), represented by Director T. Kiddle, and Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov.

The purpose of this Memorandum is to strengthen and develop academic ties, cooperate in the training and retraining of the university’s faculty, and promote mutual understanding between the parties. To achieve these goals, the parties agreed to cooperate in the following areas:

1. Further training and retraining programs of the university in face-to-face, blended, and/or distance (online) formats;
2. Joint projects for the training and retraining of English language teachers.

This Memorandum of Understanding is concluded between NILE and two institutions in Kyrgyzstan within the framework of the #AELLCA project.

Kyrgyz State Technical University is a leading university located in Bishkek, and we look forward to working with its English language departments and the #PRESETT program in future cooperation.
