Social life of the institute

The educational and extracurricular activities of the Institute of Technology  are carried out in accordance with a comprehensive institutional development plan, aligned with the University’s overall plan of educational, cultural, and large-scale events.

Students of the  Institute of Technology actively and systematically participate in cultural and public events held at the Institute, University, and national levels. The Institute currently has 17 student-athletes who actively compete in various competitions within the University. Some of them are members of the national teams of KSTU and the Kyrgyz Republic and have achieved outstanding results. Among them are multiple champions and prize-winners of competitions at various levels, including the Asian Championships, the Asian Games, and the Kyrgyz Republic Universiade. They have contributed significantly to the medal record of both KSTU and Kyrgyzstan in the international sports arena.

Among these distinguished athletes is Baysalova Adel, Champion of Kyrgyzstan in ITF Taekwondo. She has won numerous competitions. In 2021, she secured 1st place at the Championship and National Championship of the Kyrgyz Republic and 2nd place at the International ITF Taekwondo Tournament “Asian Bars Cup” held in the Issyk-Kul region.

Students of the Institute actively participate in all cultural, social, and public events organized by the University, the city, and the Republic. They have been prize-winners at artistic performance competitions and festivals, as well as at major celebratory events, including:
– “Initiation into Students” — Grand Prix (2024, 2025)
– Inter-Institute Festival “Ala-Too Spring” — Grand Pri
– KSTU named after I. Razzakov “START-UP” Competition — 1st Place.
